dani_the_girlHmmm. Not as awesome as previous days, IMO, but perhaps that's because I was watching it at midnight in bed after being out drinking and rock banding with people.
I didn't know Ianto was going to die, having not taken speculation I saw about that sort of thing seriously and, I don't know. It was a bit of an overdone death scene, I thought. I would be prepared to bet that RTD was responsible for that - it's one of the things I don't think he can do well.
I am starting to wonder if the 456 have required the scary smoke filled room because they are not that scary looking in real life and want to project an air of menace. I have no idea of how they're going to deal with the threat though so hopefully it sets us up for a really good final episode.
