I wonder if something has changed in the site scheme - the top bar now squashes up on my phone screen so the links are all on top of each other.

Site scheme has changed some, yes. There's no longer a fixed/minimum width on the pages, so depending on how your phone renders, it might come out squished. Works okay on my iPhone?

Not to say this is how it SHOULD be, just explaining how it is.
