Reading filters

It suddenly occured to me that I have no idea if reading filters are on the list for open beta. I hope so. Must get better at searching for stuff in bugzilla - I never seem to be able to find the bug that I want.

True, I forget about that. I've been doing it manually on LJ for a long time, dividing some of the comms I was watching into subject matter groups.

Yeah, we've argued about this one a bunch. It's definitely a "omg we need this feature" but it's not the kind of thing we need FOR open beta. It doesn't drive adoption the way the importer, cross-posting, and a payment system will.

I'd forgotten about the show=PCF options too, which makes things a lot more manageable in the interim. I guess it's good that people are starting to think about it though - means they're adding people to their read lists and finding lots of stuff being posted :)
