The Brownies write Dr Who fic
Aug. 1st, 2008 10:20 amYes, it's true. I help out at a Brownie pack and we made puppet theatres and asked them to write a play to perform in them last term. This is what we got from two of them:
( Dr Bob by Bethany and Claire )

Hmmmm. So if that was the thing on Donna's back, does that mean that there's one in our regular timeline too? So the whole thing is a fakeout? That would be a way of re-setting us back to.. well, practically anywhere in the timeline really but presumably, given Rose's warning, back to the point of regeneration into Ten? I can't remember which other episodes it's been referenced in but I'm sure there have been a few.
I have to say that I did quite enjoy it, although it would have been interesting to mess with the timeline a little more as we got further from the point of divergence and/or to have seen a bit more of the way the others handled the events that previously the Doctor had sorted out, but I suppose the point was to focus on Donna herself.

Breakfast in Bed
Jun. 18th, 2008 11:37 amTitle: Breakfast in Bed
Fandom: Dr Who
Characters: Jack/River
Rating/Warnings: PG, I suppose.
Summary: A little morning after banter between River and her Time Agent fling.
Notes: I accidentally Rule 35'd myself for this, so here it is, although it's not porn and therefore probably doesn't count. Written in about an hour while waiting for some information to come back at work. In my head the dig she's about to go on is the one where she meets the Doctor for the first time. His mission is his time-loop with Captain John. Because we don't know his real name in cannon I've decided not to use one here at all, but that's not intended to make it ambiguous, just that I couldn't pick one for him.
( She woke up slowly, blinking in the sunlight gently filtering into the room, trying to bring her brain up to speed from last night. )
